Graded Slide Descriptions for the 2009-2010 WSC

These descriptions are prepared for each case by Dr Bruce Williams of the Department of Veterinary Pathology. A blank worksheet (WS) is attached for each conference which specifies additional questions which should be answered as part of the total grade (20 pts). The answer key (Key) will be available when the case report is published.

A few notes from Dr Williams

1. These descriptions are mine, and do not represent the concensus of the department. Hence the morphologic diagnosis may not fully agree with the "official" AFIP diagnosis, etc.
2. There are often variations in the slides sent out to various institutions - it happens when you have 185 recuts. I have attempted to note any variations that I have seen in a limited sampling.
3. Not every description is challenging or "board-quality", but I have attempted to assign 20 points for each one.
